Goodbye Video Card
Poor computer. Oh woe is my computer.
My nvidia 9600GT video card died the death tonight. Can’t explain why other than I think the Cuda app I’ve been running may be partially responsible. Combined with the ambient temperature of a closed up room during the day, I wonder if maybe the card over cooked.
At this moment in time, I am unable to access my computer unless I switch to using the onboard Radeon for which I am struggling to find the drivers. As is always the case, I’ve managed to lose the original CD that came with the motherboard.
Woe is me too.
This means no gaming :-( There is no way I’m going to try gaming on some 21xx series Radeon… Uggh.
This seriously couldn’t have come at a worse time, financially speaking.
Then again, forcing me out of the games is probably not a bad thing. Meh…. At least the onboard display adapter kinda works. That’ll do for now.
If I could find the freaking drivers for it :-P
