I keep looking at the part where all the flights are mapped coming to/from the cities and just imagining using Google Earth instead of the wireframe map they have.

Just imagine taking a fly by through the Grand Canyon in 3D, or touring all the waterfalls of South America. Or a walk through of Notre Damme in France, or even being able to stand on top of the Pyramids in Egypt and see a fully 3D, 360 Panoramic view. And you could zoom in and zoom out on places just by pointing and moving your hands towards or away from them.

Imagine building a new engine design and being able to completely break it down into its individual parts with your hands in a virtual 3D space like this.

Or ... so many possibilities.

Sorry... I had to geek out for a moment there. It just really impresses me that we're this close.

Now if only the CNN "holograms" were real :-P Would make that engine you designed even more impressive :-)
