A fair number of people are curious as to when this years Night Speed Drag Wars start. They’re coming here because of the post from October 2005 which obviously isn’t helpful 3 years later.

This year the Nightspeed Drag Wars start on Friday, November 7, 2008 down at the Fram Autolight Dragway on State Highway 1, just outside Meremere.

It does not look like there will be any steady schedule for the NSDW this year, however there is a LOT lined up on the NZDRA calendar that will keep people plenty entertained.

Take it from me, racing on the road means nothing. Its just smoke in the breeze. Race on the track and *Prove* your car can do what you claim. Have something you can be proud of and at the end of the season walk away with pride and maybe real prizes.

Not to mention your life.
