Helen Clark has released a statement to the press, before Parliament sits, admitting she was told by Owen Glenn about the $100,000 donation back in February of this year.

She states she then spoke with Winston Peters on the phone who denied it then. This is after Mr Peters told the Privileges Committee he did not know anything about it till June or July.
