No more about the iPhone!

No more about Microsoft vs Yahoo!

I’ve had enough of these non-events being blown out of proportion. They are only events because the media put so much hype around them. When was the last time such a big fuss was made about a cellphone? Oh yeah… LAST YEAR at the previous iPhone launch! And it was the same media culprits blowing it out of proportion then too.

And this whole Microsoft vs Yahoo! thing is just getting tedious and boring. Let Icahn do whatever he likes. He’s a paid up member of the shareholders, so he can do whatever he likes with his shares and the votes they give him. Microsoft, on the other hand, needs to learn that sometimes you actually have to live and die by the fruit of your own products. If they made a compelling product, people would use it. But so far, their MSN and Live products are just junk and seem to do nothing more than follow where others have already been. In many cases, long before Microsoft got anywhere near thinking about doing the same.

This is all getting just a little too tedious now though. I’ve had enough and the rampant crap flooding my podcasts on a daily basis about the affairs has done my head in. I want nothing to do with any of these companies or products. I had need to replace a lost cellphone and instead of an iPhone, I got myself a Nokia E90. It may not be the latest “wow factor” toy, but given it has more features native than the iPhone I’m actually really happy and impressed with it.

So Please… No more Microsoft. No more Yahoo! and most definitely no more iPhone!!!
