Whats Steve doing? Hello?
With my vacation fast approaching, and putting in a lot of overtime at work lately (its going on 1am and I’m still working on one client’s site at the moment) I really haven’t had a lot of time for much of anything in general.
So you’ll just have to take my word for it that I will post something useful and relevant when I get the chance. However, in all honesty, it may not be until after the new year.
Having said all that, I’d really like to say Orcs & Elves on the Nintendo DS is a great game that I found I couldn’t stop playing or take out of my DS until I’d finished it. All up, on normal difficulty, I completed the game in about 6 hours. On the harder difficulties it took me about 10 hours each. LOTS of replay value. If you remember the old Eye of the Beholder games from “way back” then this game will definitely appeal to you.
I’m currently trying to get through Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass so I can get onto Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings which I want done before Assassin’s Creed is released on the DS in February :-)
Uggh! Did I mention Lego Star Wars, the Complete Saga is just too cute to put down as well? ;-) I am making myself concentrate solely on Castlevania and Zelda at the moment, but Star Wars is making that hard.
One of these days I should review some of these games properly. They’re actually pretty good.
Its a pity the controls of Call of Duty 4 on the DS were just too… Meh :-/ You can’t customise them and the defaults are unnatural and uncomfortable. This sucks because it totally ruined an otherwise great game for me. :-/ I just can’t bring myself to spend enough time playing it to get beyond the first few levels.
Hmmmmm… What else have I played recently… A few others, but I’ll probably save them for another time. :-P
