I have decided that I wont be working this weekend. Primarily because I’m damn tired and just in need of a break. Relaxing is a good thing apparently. Well, so I hear. ;-) So this weekend I won’t be working and will instead spend time either with Brooke or doing something else that isn’t work. :-)

Anyway… That means that I should finally get a chance (if I can pull myself away from Guild Wars and Bioshock long enough) to finish a couple of articles I’ve had as drafts for 2 weeks now. One is an introductory tutorial about IPv4 Subnetting (lots of math involved, in binary) and the other is a discussion about why we should start migrating to IPv6 sooner rather than later.

Now, if neither of those makes any sense to you, or even interests you, then I am also going to post a few other posts about slightly less geeky stuff. Finally, a review of Bioshock (or at least the first couple of hours I’ve played of it so far) and then there will also be a post or two that are a little more personal and mostly just ramblings about things that have been happening in my life, and in general.

In a couple of weeks I will write up my initial reaction and a mini review of the Guild Wars: Eye of the North expansion pack. This is the first true expansion for Guild Wars. The others were all complete, standalone games. It won’t be a full and proper review because I’m still playing Guild Wars: Nightfall for the most part and haven’t really bothered to do too much in GW:EN, but it’ll be my initial thoughts on the expansion.

I have been so quiet lately because I’ve been working so much. The day job during the week (in bed around 9pm every night) and then working night shifts on the weekends. As you can imagine, that really hasn’t left a lot of time for much else. So hopefully, this weekend, by not working I’ll have the time to actually show this blog some love ;-)
