Day Shift
Staying awake the whole night and still being up at 5am is not a problem. However, waking up at 5am is totally an unbelievably weird.
Still, one must work. And one must work the hours the boss gives you or you’re not going to be working long at all. After all, the boss is always right. Even when they’re wrong.
Oh well, gotta rush. I have the pleasure of a 12 hour day shift. Not sure how I like that compared to a 13 hour night shift, but you never can tell I guess. It will be the first time I’ve done a day shift since I left the static guard stuff on the North Shore. Trust me, I’m very glad to be away from that ;-)
Gotta go. Time stands still for no man and I have 20mins to get ready and get outta here. Start work at 6:30am. At least its a Sunday and I don’t have to fight the traffic. Trying to get to Massey by 5:30pm during the week is just a major hassle with the traffic. I find I have to leave around 3:30pm to get there on time. And its only 30km or so away. Go figure.
