Like many people my age, when we were kids, Streetfighter was a game that a lot of us played when we were up at the local waiting for the papers to be dropped off so we could earn our pocket money and deliver them.

Anyway, Streetfighter was a lot of fun in the old days, but then they just took the franchise too far and it kind of got boring. It’ll never be better than the original game, but thats just my opinion. ;-)

But even with all my practice standing up at the shops waiting for my papers to get dropped off, I was never able to pull off something like this. Then again, I’m not Korean either. My cousin lives there with his Korean wife and son, but thats about as close as I can claim to the place. For some strange reason, Korean’s seem to be truly spectacular at many of the video games that have ever been created. They’re rule the roost when it comes to Guild Wars, and they definitely go completely nuts over Starcraft.

But this is the first time I’ve ever witnessed a Korean Streetfighter tournament and see a crowd like this… This is just spectacular. The dude is simply amazing. Watch the video to see what I mean.
