So I have this whole new business model and plan implemented that I’m going to setup over the next little while.

Well, I will once I get rid of this damn bandwidth restriction. Playing at 64Kb/s is just so painful its almost not even worth the effort. Unlike WoW or GW, you download the environment as you move in to it. Given everything is vector based, this is not entirely bad, until you consider there are a LOT of different textures in the game. In fact, pretty much everything uses a different texture.

So whats happening here now? Well, for one, this new business model is going to rely on a lot of people to help it succeed. It involves land. Lots and lots of land. Is going to cost me a lot of money to get going, but if it pans out, will make me significant income as well. As stupid as it sounds, it would almost be worth paying US$1500 for a server in SL and then the US$200/mnth in land taxes. Except I don’t want all the land in one place. I want it spread out all over the place.

Ludovic keeps telling me I should start hotels in the game. And he’s not wrong in suggesting that. Its a good way to make money, but lots of people are doing similar already. No, what I have in mind is a little more extensive than that. It involves a combination of apartments, malls and normal residential land.

I’m not going to divulge too much about it because I want to see it start working first before I start sharing the plan. Its definitely not a new idea, there are lots of people out there doing it already. But it is different in its implementation.

If you guys were interested in making real money and could afford even an annual subscription of US$72 and then US$15/mnth for land fees, now would be a good time to join me in SL ;-)

Yes, I know I’ve been slack and not replying to messages and such lately. I am sorry about that. Am just concentrating on myself at the moment. Need to just look out for me for a while.

Doc: No, I haven’t seen Pirates2 yet. Yes, I’d love to see it with you guys, but I won’t be able to until Thursday next week at the earliest :-( Sorry :-(

You guys could go see it without me and let me know if its worth the effort ;-) hehehe ;-) I think I already know the answer though, so you might wanna see it twice, just to make sure ;-)
