Hmmmm… I installed the Google Notebook firefox extension for the first time in this particular profile and now Firefox crashes whenever it starts to load a page.

Very frustrating. Don’t like creating new profiles just because one extension is screwing things up. Why can’t someone create an external extension removal tool that doesn’t require me to run firefox for it to work. It should just go through my Firefox profile directory and give me simple wizards to manage/edit my profile. Things like Extensions, Themes, Settings and the like.

Obviously it’d be intended for the “power user” but it’d be unbelievably useful. So exceptionally useful.

Maybe I should write it myself? I wish I could. I definitely don’t know the guts of a Firefox profile well enough, and don’t have the patience to crawl through the Firefox code itself to learn it. Is just easier for me to create a new profile and copy my bookmarks/cookies/whatever over manually then go through and reinstall all the extensions.
