Computer go byebye for a while.
I find myself in an extremely bad situation today. My primary hard drive is about to die on my main desktop grunt machine and I cant afford to replace the drive at the moment. :-|
Worse yet, theres so much data on this machine that backing it up properly is going to take a million years. The drive is in such a state that while I can access some of the files, I can’t even open up a My Computer explorer window while in Windows itself. I can only browse the drive using Linux. The problem being, that Linux has its main partition on the same drive. :-(
This means that chances are high that I will not be chatting much for a while. My primary concern right now is to try and back everything up and get my computer to a safe state.
Well… What do you know… Explorer just crashed and not even Task Manager can get it started again. :-(
Good bye people. ;-) Who knows when I’ll get the chance to post again. At least I can still do the necessary work on the Mac and the Laptop. Even if they are both ancient relics of the late 1990s. :-P
